Spectral Processing Extension 1.4.1 has been released on September 21st, 2011.
This version of the Spectral Processing Extension only supports Opticks 4.7.X. If you want a version of Spectral Processing extension for use with Opticks 4.6.X, you must download an earlier version of this extension.

New Features
- Added a new importer that loads any of the Landsat 5 and 7 GeoTIFF imagery that is freely available from the USGS website at http://glovis.usgs.gov/. This importer can load either the raw digital number radiance, the top-of-atmosphere solar corrected radiance or reflectance values for the PAN and VNIR/SWIR Landsat products. This importer can also load either the raw digital numbers or Kelvin temperatures for the TIR Landsat products. (EXTRAS-190)
- Added a new importer that loads QuickBird-2, WorldView-1 and WorldView-2 imagery that can be purchased from DigitalGlobe or other resellers. This importer can load either the raw digital number radiance, the top-of-atmosphere solar corrected radiance or reflectance values for the PAN and VNIR products. (EXTRAS-191)
- Added a new signature matching algorithm, Adaptive Cosine Estimator (ACE) that accompanies the existing signature matching algorithms of CEM and SAM. (EXTRAS-114)
- Added a new anomaly detector, Topological Anomaly Detector (TAD). (EXTRAS-180)
- Improved performance of the Spectral Library Matching tool, by adding multi-threading support to the SAM algorithm (Windows and Linux only) and improving display performance of the match results. (EXTRAS-149)
- Added a new AutoClear feature to the Spectral Library Matching tool. If enabled, the Match Results Window for a data set will be cleared each time before new results are added. The default state for the feature can be set via the "Tools/Options/Spectral Library Match" options widget. The state for an individual data set results window can be changed via its context menu. (EXTRAS-189)
Bug Fixes
- After being aborted, the MNF plug-in no longer prompts the user to save the MNF coefficients. (EXTRAS-42)
- The CEM and SAM plug-ins now properly delete the created layer and raster element if an error occurs while processing. (EXTRAS-111)
- When creating a new spectral library to export, the user is now required to enter a custom name for the library to prevent a possible error on import. (EXTRAS-182)
- The RX algorithm will fail with an appropriate error message if memory cannot be allocated, instead of failing with a message that made it appear the user canceled the algorithm. (EXTRAS-164)
- All of the plug-ins should now load properly on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-bit, there was a compilation problem with the OpenCV binaries. In addition, RX Anomaly Detection is now available on Linux. (EXTRAS-201)
Supported Opticks Versions
- This extension is supported in any version of Opticks 4.7.X that is Opticks 4.7.1 or later.
