Spectral Processing Extension 1.5.0rc1 has been released on December 16th, 2011.
This release is the first release candidate for 1.5.0. This release is marked as "not for production". The current plan is to allow three weeks for the community to validate this release. If you find any major issues please report them to our bug and issue tracker. If no major issues have been identified by January 6th, then creation of 1.5.0 will proceed. Currently, 1.5.0 is scheduled to be available on January 20th, and it will be a production release and can be used to create production products. Please download and validate this release to help ensure 1.5.0 is a great release!
This version of the Spectral Processing Extension only supports Opticks 4.8.X. If you want a version of Spectral Processing extension for use with Opticks 4.7.X, you must download an earlier version of this extension.

- The CEM and SAM plug-ins now contain a batch mode input argument that can be set in a wizard to specify that a threshold layer should be created as output. (EXTRAS-77)
- A new context menu action is now available in the Signature Window to remove selected signatures without deleting them. (EXTRAS-205)

Bug Fixes
- API documentation was added for several classes in the Spectral SDK that previously contained no documentation. (EXTRAS-36)
- Changed the MNF dialog to include the filename for saving the coefficients instead of querying the user after the algorithm finishes. (EXTRAS-76)
- Canceling an import of signature libraries with the Spectral Signature Library Importer now works properly. (EXTRAS-88)
- The Spectral Library Match dialog now properly displays available AOIs when a layer of another type is active. (EXTRAS-138)
- Spatial profile plots are now properly cleared when plotting a new AOI. (EXTRAS-170)
- Range Profile text files now load properly on Solaris. (EXTRAS-172)
- The RX algorithm now reports a more descriptive error message when using an AOI containing only a single pixel. (EXTRAS-195)
- Opticks no longer crashes or becomes unresponsive when closing the application while the ELM dialog is displayed. (EXTRAS-197)
- The "Band Selection" mouse mode in a signature plot now works properly when displaying signatures of data created by an algorithm. (EXTRAS-198, EXTRAS-200)
- Shaded areas of non-imported bands are now displayed in the proper locations on a signature plot for data sets that were previously exported as a subset of a larger data set. (EXTRAS-199)

- The Signature Importer no longer overwrites the value for the "UnitType" metadata key with the value for the "UnitScale" metadata key. (EXTRAS-212)
