Summary

Potential Google Summer of Code students have begun speaking with developers on IRC and the mailing lists. There seems to be a lot of interest in hyperspectral, SAR, and astonomy algorithm projects. See IRC logs and mailing list archives for details.

Some students are having trouble accessing downloads on http://opticks.ballforge.net A mirror of the 4.3.3 windows installers (32-bit and 64-bit) as well as the 4.3.3 linux packages has been made available here until the issue can be resolved.
