Approved previous meeting notes.
Google Summer of Code signup is this week. kstreith is talking with Vance about funding him as a mentor. If kstreith will not be funded, someone should volunteer before the end of the week.
There are some Opticks papers in the works, a general paper on Opticks and a paper on temporal data processing with Opticks. tclarke is working on the temporal processing paper with Peter Raeth. kstreith and rforehan are interested in co-authoring the general Opticks paper.

<kstreith> i've talked to Vance and there is some interest in Ball paying me to be a mentor
<kstreith> i'll be working that more this week
<kstreith> Vance wants an idea of the projects we might be mentoring before he signs off, but I'll know that by tomorrow
<kstreith> keep in mind that if even if Vance doesn't pay me, others can still submit a mentorship proposal for Opticks

<tclarke> he's provided some feedback on a paper I started last year for FOSS4G

<tclarke> he's also provided an outline and abstract for a generic Opticks paper (intro article, etc.)

<kstreith> and could lend some spot support to the temporal data processing paper
